book design

A table covered with various pamphlets and flyers related to LGBT+ issues, gender neutrality, and reproductive rights, including a bright yellow flyer questioning the use of gender-neutral pronouns in Dutch.

The lack of knowledge and understanding about gender neutral or non-binary pronouns in Dutch made me create a zine on the subject.

In 2019 the zine was first printed and distributed among friends and bookstore Savannah Bay (Utrecht, NL).

The zine was part of the traveling exhibition called “Buitengewone geschiedenis. Transgender in Nederland” in 2021.

Book cover featuring a neon butterfly outline against a black background with text in Dutch.

I designed the cover, lay-out and illustrations for the book Vlinders, kom uit je kokon! (Armorica, 2023). I also wrote the book itself.

It was published at uitgeverij Armorica (for sale here)
