workshops

I give button & needlefelting workshops for small groups (max. 10).

I mostly give workshops for queer, trans and other marginalized groups, but I am also open to other collectives!

What can be included in a button workshop:

  • A short introduction into the history of buttons and examples of buttons in relation to the topic of the workshop (for example queer & trans activism)

  • Instruction on how to use the button maker

  • Materials (depending on topic, groups can also bring their own materials like magazine cut-outs)

  • Participants will go home with +/- 5 buttons in different sizes (25 mm - 32 mm - 58 mm)

  • An explanation of the materials and how to use them, as well as some safety explanations.

  • A fun group exercise that will determine your final project

  • Materials (depending on what the group themselves already have)

  • Participants will go home with a really fun selfmade creation
